Edu Asia New,The visit was personally welcomed by the Rector of Universitas Siliwangi, accompanied by the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Agriculture, as well as representatives from the Japanese side. During the meeting, Green Power Co., Ltd. proposed a collaboration with Universitas Siliwangi regarding the utilization of the university’s moringa plantation land.
Dr. Haruo Minakata explained that Green Power Co., Ltd. sees great potential in moringa as a sustainable crop with high economic value. He expressed his company’s interest in collaborating on cultivation, processing of moringa-based products, and the development of environmentally friendly agricultural technologies.
The Rector of Universitas Siliwangi welcomed the proposal positively, viewing it as part of the university’s role in supporting agricultural innovation and community empowerment. Furthermore, the Rector delegated the technical discussion of the collaboration to the Faculty of Agriculture, as the implementing unit with expertise in this field.
Following the discussion session, the meeting continued with an observational visit to the Faculty of Agriculture Laboratory at Universitas Siliwangi. During the visit, the delegation directly observed the laboratory facilities and engaged in discussions regarding potential research support that could be jointly developed to strengthen the proposed collaboration.
