Edu Asia New,Humas UPNVJ – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has successfully received the 2025 Diktisaintek Higher Education Award in the category of State Universities with Public Service Agency status (PTN BLU), sub-category of Second-Best Achievement in Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for 2024.
This award was granted in recognition of UPNVJ’s consistent efforts to enhance the quality of education and its social impact. The Rector of UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm., stated that this achievement serves as a momentum to accelerate institutional transformation in order to generate greater benefits for society and the nation.
Prof. Venus explained that this success is the result of collaborative efforts by the entire academic community, with a strong focus on governance transformation, improvement of academic quality, and the strengthening of the university’s tridharma (education, research, and community service). The achievement reflects progress across various strategic indicators, including graduate quality, collaboration with industry and the business sector, the strengthening of practitioner lecturers and applied research, as well as adaptive and accountable institutional management. All of these efforts are aligned with the policies of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Diktisaintek), which emphasize the tangible contributions of higher education institutions to national development.
“This award represents recognition of UPNVJ’s commitment to implementing the IKU in a substantive manner—not merely administratively, but with a genuine orientation toward impact for students, society, and the nation,” said Prof. Venus.
He also emphasized that this award does not mark the end of the journey, but rather serves as encouragement to continue improving. UPNVJ remains committed to expanding collaborations and ensuring that every program delivers added value to the public. “We regard this appreciation as a mandate to maintain consistent performance; therefore, transformation must continue and its impact must become increasingly evident,” stated Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm.
