Edu Asia New,Nanchang UNJ Public Relations — Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) continues to accelerate its campus internationalization efforts through the consolidation of strategic cooperation with Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE), Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China, on 22–23 December 2025. The meeting focused on planning the 2026 international programs, which include student mobility, lecturer exchange, collaborative research, and joint professor initiatives, as part of UNJ’s broader agenda toward becoming a World Class University (WCU).
UNJ was represented at the meeting by Susilo, Head of the UNJ International Affairs Office. The discussions were productive and forward-looking, covering schemes for student and faculty exchanges, cross-border research collaboration, the development of international publications, and plans for the appointment of joint professors, which are expected to enhance the global academic atmosphere at UNJ.
Susilo emphasized that the cooperation with JUFE represents a strategic step for UNJ in expanding its international academic network and boosting global competitiveness.
“This strengthened cooperation is part of UNJ’s systematic efforts to implement the UNJ Go to World Class University program. Through student mobility, lecturer exchange, collaborative research, and joint professor initiatives, we aim to enhance the quality of the university’s tridharma while providing international academic experiences for the UNJ academic community,” he stated.
He added that JUFE, as one of China’s leading universities in the fields of economics, business, and finance, holds significant potential to become a strategic partner for UNJ in the development of applied research, policy innovation, and human resource capacity building.
Through this strengthened cooperation, UNJ reaffirms its commitment as a globally oriented higher education institution that is adaptive, collaborative, and ready to take further strides in the global higher education landscape.
