Edu Asia New,Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has strengthened its efforts toward becoming a World Class University by establishing a strategic partnership with PT Quantum HRM Internasional. This partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), focusing on the development of human resource management systems, competency certification, and the strengthening of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
The signing ceremony, held in the Rectorate Meeting Room of UPNVJ, was attended by members of the university’s leadership as well as the President Director of Quantum HRM Internasional, Prof. Dr. Pribadiyono, Ir., MS.
The Rector of UPN “Veteran” Jakarta stated that the collaboration with Quantum HRM Internasional represents a concrete step toward realizing the vision of a “Bela Negara” campus with global competitiveness.
“We realize that in this era of disruption, a diploma alone is no longer sufficient. Our lecturers, students, and staff must possess credible competency certifications. Quantum HRM Internasional has an outstanding track record in helping organizations optimize human potential through scientific systems,” said the Rector.
Meanwhile, the Head of the UPNVJ Competency Testing Services Unit (UPA Layanan Uji Kompetensi), Dr. Kusumajanti, S.Sos., M.Si., explained that this collaboration serves as a binding commitment for both parties to provide mutual added value. Quantum HRM Internasional will assist UPNVJ in preparing accreditation documents for the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) and grant full access to the use of its existing certification schemes.
“We are committing with Quantum HRM to three main objectives: accelerating KAN accreditation for our Personnel Certification Body, implementing Quantum HRM’s certification schemes at UPNVJ, and jointly developing new assessment materials,” she stated after the event.
International-Scale Synergy of Assessors and Trainers
One of the key points of the agreement is the enhancement of UPNVJ lecturers’ competencies to qualify them as Certified International Trainers (CIT) and Certified International Personnel Assessors (CIPA).
“The requirements are clear: our lecturers must be certified as CIT and CIPA. This will enable UPNVJ lecturers to serve as trainers or assessors within these international schemes. If the trainer is from UPN, then the assessor will be from Quantum, or vice versa. This represents a very strong synergy,” she added.
On the other hand, the Executive Director of Quantum HRM Internasional, Prof. Dr. Pribadiyono, welcomed UPNVJ’s enthusiasm.
“We highly appreciate the enthusiasm and grand vision of UPNVJ. This cooperation is not merely a formality, but a genuine commitment to elevating UPNVJ beyond national standards,” he remarked. (www.upnvj.ac.id)
